Printable Drink Tickets, Numbered

Small numbered drink tickets, 20 to a page, with your event name, date and a no-cash-value line.

Quick answer: Drink tickets are small vouchers guests swap at the bar for a drink. Print them 20 per page with your event name, the valid date and “good for one drink”, and number them so you can count how many were handed out and redeemed. The generator above is set up for drink tickets.

When to use drink tickets

  • Hosted bars with a limit: give each guest two tickets instead of running an open bar.
  • Fundraisers: sell tickets at the door or a table so bar staff never handle cash.
  • Staff and volunteer thank-yous: one or two tickets each, valid on the night.
  • Festivals and club nights: separate tickets for soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, printed in two colours.

Why number drink tickets?

Numbers make tickets harder to copy and let you reconcile at the end: if you handed out 001–400 and the bar collected 312, you know 88 are still out. Change the prefix or colour for each event night so tickets from a previous event can't be used again.

400 drink tickets at 20 per page is 20 sheets. Plain paper is fine because drink tickets are used once; cardstock feels nicer at weddings and galas.

What to print on a drink ticket

  • The words Drink ticket and what it's good for (“one drink”, “one soft drink”, “one beer or wine”).
  • The event name and the date it's valid.
  • A short condition such as “No cash value”. Follow your venue's and local alcohol service rules.
  • A different prefix or colour per drink type if prices differ.

Running the bar with tickets

  1. Decide what one ticket buys and post it at the bar, for example “1 ticket = beer, wine or soft drink”.
  2. Hand out or sell tickets at the entrance or a separate table, and note the first and last number given out.
  3. Bar staff drop each ticket in a box or tear it in half as it's redeemed, so it can't be passed back.
  4. At closing, count the redeemed tickets. The difference from the number handed out is how many were never used.

Frequently asked questions

How many drink tickets per guest?

It depends on your budget and event length. Many hosts give one or two per guest and sell extras. Decide the number before printing and count the tickets you hand out.

Can I make drink tickets without a stub?

Yes. The 20 per page layout has no stub, and you can also turn the stub off at 10 per page.

How do I stop people reusing old drink tickets?

Print the date on the ticket, use a new prefix or colour for each event, and collect tickets at the bar.

Can I add our logo?

Yes. Open Design, colour and logo, and choose a PNG, JPG or SVG image. It prints on every ticket.
